Santee Education Complex offers a wide variety of Electives courses, including numerous Visual and Performing Arts [VAPA] courses, as well as Career and Technical Education [CTE] courses and pathways.

CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION

Career & Technical Education [CTE]

Career Technical Education (CTE) is an education pathway that provides students with the academic, technical, and real world knowledge, skills and experience they need to be prepared for a variety of career options.

Our two-year CTE course sequences are comprised of a Concentrator and a Capstone course.

Students must be programmed into the correct sequence, as courses build upon the skills acquired in the previous course.

Our CTE pathways prepare our students for the full range of post-secondary opportunities, including college and careers.

All our CTE pathways lead to an industry-recognized certificate or credential for employability and post-secondary preparation.
