The Santee Falcon cheerleaders are a dynamic spirit squad with two teams: Varsity and Junior Varsity. Both squads perform at various school events such as football and basketball games, pep rallies, and assemblies. The cheerleaders enter in many Cheer Competitions throughout the year and won two first place trophies in 2008 at both the Sharp Championships and the LAUSD Pep Competition for Pom routines. The Santee Falcon Cheerleaders lead the charge in developing spirit and school pride here at Santee. Tryouts for cheerleading takes place in May of each school year for the upcoming year.
