What are Schools for Advanced Studies?
Santee offers engaging, challenging instruction that helps gifted and high-ability students think critically, create, and succeed.
Our commitment at Santee
We strive to nurture students’ strengths through meaningful academic challenge, higher-order thinking, collaboration, and a supportive school community. Our goal is to help learners grow as confident thinkers, leaders, and problem-solvers.
How students learn
Four dimensions of advanced learning
SAS instruction goes beyond doing more work. It invites students to think more deeply, make connections, and engage with appropriately challenging content.
